The German Courses for Special Purposes are designed for participants who are already professionally involved in the fields of international office communication (Course DB), business and international trade (Course KEC) or tourism and hotel industry (Course KTH) as well as for those studying these subjects at college or university. The courses aim at giving the students the opportunity to revitalise, extend or generally improve their skills in the use of specialised German. The principal objective is to train the students’ abilities in active communication, both oral and written, with regard to professional situations.
The teachers use selected text materials from relevant business publications along with audio-visual materials of current interest.
