Aside from the permanently offered courses the Institute also runs courses and seminars upon request and made to order. Tell us your needs and we will make you our offer
HSF runs courses for foreign universities, also as part of a scholarship programme. The contents of these courses are those of our standard course programme and/or those required by the universities.
(Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang – Examination of German Proficiency for University Admission) at German universities.
HSF offers these DSH preparatory courses every year in March and in September. The courses prepare students specifically for both the written and the oral part of the exam. Aside from the regular preparatory courses we also run special courses for pre-constituted groups.
For foreign teachers of German we offer courses of further training for "German" and "German Culture and Society" in different course models.
The courses 50PLUS are designed for participants of 50 years and older who wish to reactivate and expand German language skills - acquired during their professional career – in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. One part of the course is an interesting and varied programme of regional culture and history. Together with his/her teachers, the participant sets up the programme for the course and determines the schedule for both in-classroom tuition and outdoor programme.
For individuals as well as for groups we offer customised weekend seminars providing further training of the German language. The seminars can be booked for two or more weekends with a free choice of dates. They start on a Friday afternoon or – if desired – on a Saturday morning and comprise between 8 and 16 full hours.
For pre-constituted groups of teenagers of 14 to 15 years (application to be made by their school or an agency) we offer custom-made language courses including an appropriate leisure time and sports programme.
